Monjunis Italian Cafe & Grocery

Hello ol' friends! Instead of trying to explain why I have been the laziest blogger on the planet...I'm just going to jump right on in to a restaurant review...

A month or two ago, I got really excited about a Groupon for Monjunis Italian Cafe & Grocery. I love, love, love Monjunis...mainly for the sweetly sinful red sauce. So, I jumped right on the $30 worth of food for $15 Groupon and off we went to Monjunis to enjoy a yummy dinner on the town. This was really our first big eating trip out with Lily. It went pretty well...I say "pretty" well because she was wide awake and wanted to be held...the entire time. But, she didn't cry...so we win. The bathrooms DO NOT accommodate for diaper changes, so this isn't really a baby appropriate venue...but the food is yummy and there are several vegetarian options on the menu.

and then the Eggplant Parmesan...

and then we finished it off with some Tiramisu at home...

...yum, yum, yum!

I highly recommend the Eggplant Parmesan...but the Tiramisu was the kicker! It was the sweet finish to a great meal! And, of course, I have to show off the little one...

It has been a crazy couple of weeks and I haven't been able to sit at a computer long enough to post ANYTHING. So sad...

Well, Lily's two month "birthday" has come and gone...

We have a growing girl on our hands!

She enjoys supervised playtime by Oliver...

and Mr. Kitty!

Lily started daycare last week in the Strawberry Classroom! It was such a sad day for me, but she took to her teacher so well, I couldn't help but be excited for her!

(Yes, the fact that she in the the Strawberry Classroom and she wore a Strawberry Onesie on the first day was on purpose!)

The sad thing about this picture (in addition to me looking like a homeless person) is the fact that I had no idea Lily had drooled on my arm until after I posted the picture on Facebook and a couple of my friends pointed it out! Gotta love Mommyhood!
